What is the Alcove Dinner Theatre?

The Alcove Dinner Theatre is Mount Vernon’s one and only dinner theatre, opening in 1988. Shows include comedy, murder mysteries, small musicals and drama. Most shows have adult theme or language (pg-13).

The Alcove Restaurant is located at 116 South Main Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Tickets are $30-$37 depending on entrée selected.

You must select your meal choices when you make your reservation. All entrees include a house salad and pecan fudge ball ice cream dessert. A bar is available to purchase cocktails and soft drinks prior to the show and between scenes – the bar accepts both cash and credit card payments. Your ticket price is all inclusive - performance, beverage, dessert, tax and tip.

What should I wear?

Dress for the evening is upscale casual – jackets and ties are optional.

How long is the dinner & show?

Cocktails begin at 6:30. This social hour is optional and allows you to relax as you meet and greet friends and guests. The dining room doors open at 7:15 for salads, followed by dinner. After dinner beverages are refreshed and the show begins. During intermission you are treated to dessert and beverages are once again refreshed. Shows are no longer than 2 hours in length and you are on your way home by 10:30.
